About the show

Does It Hold Up is a rewatch podcast with a simple rule. We only cover the movies and shows that raised us, and at the end of every episode each of us has to answer one question honestly: does it hold up?

Brad, his brother Brock and his sister-in-law Amanda sit down with a movie they loved as kids and watch it again with grown-up eyes. Some of it is better than we remembered. A lot of it is child sacrifice, questionable parenting and montages that go on for a very long time. We talk about what we noticed at eight, what we notice now, which scenes still land and which ones we cannot believe our parents let us watch.
